Kukke Subramanya hotels are located in and around Kukke Subramanya in Dakshina Kannada district, about 80 km from Mangalore. The biggest attraction here is the Kukke Subramanya temple where the presiding deity is Subramanya, Lord Shiva’s son, and Sheshanaga. However, Kukke Subramanya hotels do not offer a great many options since the Kukke Subramanya temple runs many choultries, especially on temple street and it is fairly simple to get accommodation. However, the accommodation is quite basic and some of the facilities are shared. So over the years there have been some hotels, but these are located some distance away. However, most do not serve food and this has to be kept in mind. Among the Kukke Subramanya hotels the most popular one seems to be Senani Residency which is located near the river Kumaradhara. Other Kukke Subramanya hotels are V Sadana Lodge, Shanmukha Residency, Suraksha Lodge and Anugraha Lodge. For visitors who are not particular about staying in Kukke and would prefer to travel a bit for more lavish facilities than what is offered by Kukke Subramanya hotels then Mangalore which has plenty of hotel options is a good idea.
